How to prepare for your appointment

  • If you’re a new client, it’s best to arrive with bare nails so that we can properly assess the state of your natural nails. You can add on a soak off if you’d like for us to safely remove them.

Please do not pop, peel, or pry off your enhancements, or allow anyone else to, even if they are already lifting. Removing enhancements improperly causes severe damage to your natural nails and makes them more susceptible to lifting and more sensitive to the prep and process of applying new product.

Enhancements: Acrylic, Gel, Dip, Gel-X, etc

  • If you’re a new client, it’s best to arrive with bare toenails so that we can properly assess the state of your natural nails. You can add on a soak off if you’d like for us to safely remove them.

If you have any nail irritation or skin irritation on the bottom of your feet, or in between your toes please schedule a doctors appointment prior to scheduling a nail appointment. If you are cleared for receiving service please bring a doctors note with you to the nail appointment. If you’re unsure if a doctors appointment is needed please schedule a consultation and we can help you decide.

Please note that we do not offer any toe tips, overlays or extensions of any kind. Gel polish is included.

  • Please do not drink coffee or alcohol 24 hours prior to the treatment. Botox, AHA products and retinoids should be avoided for 2 weeks prior to the procedure.

If you have oily skin wipe with alcohol free witch hazel daily until your appointment.

Unless medically necessary, please avoid taking things that thin the blood like fish oils, herbals, Vitamin E, aspirins, and/or ibuprofen and do not donate plasma in the 7 days prior to procedure.

Where possible, try to avoid the following herbs and spices prior to your appointment: Black pepper, Cardamom, any member of the Ginger family, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Garlic, Horseradish, Mustard.

Discontinue use of any brow- or lash-growth serums such as Latisse or RevitaLash, as it can cause sensitivity/affects pigment retention.

Please do not apply any numbing products on your own prior to service. Numbing agents typically cause minor swelling which could cause complications with properly mapping, shaping and performing the procedure. The first pass/outline of the procedure will be without numbing. After the first pass a topical numbing agent will be applied to the treatment area. Allergic reaction can occur from any anesthetics used during the procedure. If you do suffer from an allergic reaction, you should contact your doctor immediately. Allergic reaction response may present as redness, swelling, rash, blistering, dryness or any other symptoms associated with an allergic reaction.

Numbness – We do not accept responsibility if the area to be treated does not respond to the numbing cream. Each individual responds differently. Some clients report the area to be completely numb, while others may experience some discomfort.

  • How to prepare:

For facial waxing (brows, lips, chin) gently exfoliate your face the day before. If you have oily skin wipe with witch hazel daily until your appointment.

For intimate waxing please try to shower prior to your appointment. You will be asked to freshen up with the provided wipes before service begins. We provide "Water wipes" baby wipes and Sensitive formula "Honey Pot" wipes as complimentary options.

    • Please exfoliate the area to be waxed 24-48 hours prior to your appointment but not the day of. You can resume exfoliating up to 3 times per week 72 hours following service to prevent/reduce ingrown hairs.

    • You need at least 1/4 inch of hair for the best results. You do not need to pre-trim your hair but if you wish to do so please to leave at least 1/4 inch length.

How to care for your services after your appointment

  • Your nails are jewels, not tools. Don't use them to open cans, or push buttons. Instead use your knuckle or keys to push buttons and items like spoons to help open cans.

Wear gloves during housework. Schedule regular appts. Never glue lifting nails down. Remove if more than 3 days until appt. Nail glue is water soluble and you may risk developing a greenie. Removing nails that have been glued down doubles the soak off price.

Apply cuticle oil to your cuticle & UNDER your natural nail 1-3 times/day. Nails absorb water during hand washing, bathing etc. Repeated hydration and dehydration will cause your nail to pull away from your enhancement (causing peeling and lifting on the sides). Nails that are full of hydrating cuticle oil have no room for water absorption.

  • The best at home aftercare for a pedicure is to keep your feet moisturized, and to avoid walking barefoot. Foot creams that contain urea act as a humectant, drawing moisture into the skin to prevent dryness and cracking.

We also proudly dispose of all items deemed single use or are only okay for repeated use as a personal item. You are welcome to take your pumice, file or buffer home after your service! Just let us know that you’d like them so that we can bag them for you at the end of service. These should be stored in an area that allows them to fully dry after each use.

Avoid getting the treated area wet for 24 hours after the procedure, and avoid excessive sweating, swimming, saunas, and hot tubs for at least two weeks. Avoid exposing the treated area to direct sunlight, as this can cause the pigment to fade.

Day 1: The day after of the procedure, gently cleanse the treated area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and water. Apply a thin layer of the aftercare ointmaent. Dial unscented foam is recommended for cleansing.

Days 2-14: Apply a small amount of aftercare ointment to the treated area twice a day, using a clean cotton swab. Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated area, as this can cause scarring or pigment loss.

Do not apply any makeup or skincare products to the treated area for at least two weeks after the procedure. When you resume using makeup or skincare products, be gentle and avoid rubbing the treated area. Do not exfoliate for at least 30 days. When you resume exfoliation, be very gentle with brow exfoliation for at least 2 additional weeks.

If you experience any itching, redness, or swelling, apply a cool compress to the area. Do not scratch or pick at the area, as this can cause scarring or pigment loss.

If you have any questions or concerns about your aftercare, please contact your artist. Follow-up appointments may be necessary to ensure that your permanent makeup heals properly. Schedule a follow up appointment 2-4 weeks following the procedure. If you'd like a touch up please schedule 6-8 weeks following the procedure.

Remember that permanent makeup is a process, and the final results may not be visible for several weeks. Be patient and follow your aftercare instructions carefully for the best results.
